HOW TO COMPLETE A CLUB DBS Check
Even if you have an existing DBS check through work, we require you to complete one specific to the FA and working with young people. Please find details of how to complete it below. Please note that since 2020, we ask that all applicants apply for a FAN number and password before completing initial forms and requesting ID verification.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A FAN NUMBER

A FAN number is an FA number that allows you to be entered into the FA Database, Whole Game System. Players are all assigned one at registration and they keep this number for the rest of their player careers – it will keep a record of clubs they have played at and disciplinary records too.

More recently, parents and guardians are being asked to apply for FAN numbers so they can connect themselves to their players and contact details are on file. The process is easy and free of charge. All our managers have them too to keep track of their record of qualifications and DBS checks.

To apply for a FAN, please visit this website with your name, date of birth and email address handy.
