Camberley Town FC is in advanced negotations with its Surrey Heath Council to relocate from Krooner Park (its home since 1923) to a new pitch and clubhouse facilities on the adjacent Crabtree Recreations Ground
As part of the these the existing Krooner Park site would be redeveloped as a five-a-side football centre. This major investment will also provide new mini grass football pitched on the Rec, for formal and informal community use, retaining the current appearance of the southern end of the Rec while improving the quality of the soil and grass.
This will ensure that Crabtree Rec remains a focus for recreation and sport for everyone in the local community.
